A Retro Fresh Upgrade
As an active power user, I designed this concept to boost the classic Discogs logo and connect it deeply with modern collector culture. By introducing a dynamic, spinning diagonal split, the new "Format Wheel" layout bridges the classic CD era with the micro-grooves of 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl records.
The retro multi-stripe colorway is a direct nod to the rare, colored wax variants that drive modern marketplace trends. Beyond the digital screen, this self-contained emblem is built to scale instantly into high-value community merchandise—unlocking new physical revenue streams through collectible turntable slipmats, die-cut stickers, and custom utility keychains.
